FoodoZone
Sustainability

A food delivery platform that doesn't cost the earth.

Delivery and sustainability aren't natural friends. We're working on changing that — one packaging choice, one bike-fleet shift, and one local partnership at a time.

72%

Rider trips on bikes

Across our delivery fleet, in cities where it's safe to ride.

1.2M+

Single-use plastics avoided

Through our 2025 compostable-packaging partnership.

300+

Local restaurants

Independent kitchens within 5 miles of the customer, average.

Our four commitments

Concrete things we're already doing, and the ones we're building toward.

Compostable packaging by default

We work with restaurant partners to switch their default takeaway containers to certified-compostable materials, and we cover part of the cost.

Bike & scooter-first fleet

In every city where it's practical and safe, we prioritise bike and scooter riders over cars. Lower emissions, faster delivery, fewer cars on the road.

Hyper-local partnerships

We only match you with restaurants close enough to deliver food hot — which also keeps transport distances (and emissions) genuinely short.

Carbon-aware roadmap

Starting 2026 we measure scope-1 and scope-2 emissions for every order and publish a quarterly impact report. No greenwashing — just numbers.

The roadmap

What's done, and what's next.

We'd rather show you a roadmap with checkboxes than a glossy mission statement.

  1. 2025

    Compostable packaging pilot

Rolled out compostable container subsidies across 60% of our restaurant partners. Avoided over 1.2 million single-use plastic items.

  2. 02

    Early 2026

    Bike-fleet expansion

Adding e-bike subsidies for full-time riders in three new cities, with the goal of pushing bike-led trips above 80% network-wide.

  3. 03

    Mid 2026

    Carbon-per-order reporting

Every order will show the estimated CO₂ impact at checkout, and you'll be able to offset it for a small voluntary fee that goes directly to verified projects.

  4. 04

    2027

    Surplus-food rescue partnership

Working with food banks so restaurants can donate end-of-day surplus through the same logistics network that delivers your dinner.
